Power Electronics
Eetrex is an industry leader in the development of highly energy efficient power electronics for traction battery chargers and Invergers™ (inverter-chargers). Our Smart Chargers and Invergers™ can be programed and/or controlled remotely, making them fully compatible with SmartGrid and Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) applications, and other user interfaces.

Plug-in Conversions
Eetrex offers plug-in conversion battery systems for the Ford Escape hybrid and the Toyota Prius. Each PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) conversion generally doubles the original fuel economy and increases electric-only range. With over 75 PHEV conversions in demonstration fleets throughout the country, Eetrex offers the only CARB certified (tier I) and FMVSS crash tested Escape PHEV system available today.

Battery Systems
Eetrex offers custom traction battery systems to low and medium volume vehicle manufacturers and vehicle upfitters. System sizes range from a few kilowatt-hours to a hundred kilowatt-hours, and can be supplied with CAN-Bus interfaces and integrated Smart Chargers as required. Sophisticated monitoring and balancing software, and thermal management insures the batteries safety, health and longevity.

Contract Programs
Based on our management's pioneering electric vehicle experiences over the last two decades, Eetrex offers electric and hybrid-electric vehicle engineering and integration services though a contractual format. The scope of projects span from Neighborhood Electric Vehicles to Class 8 trucks and transit buses—from battery cell evaluations and power system design to complete commercial electric vehicle engineering, prototype development, and test leading to full scale manufacturing.
